If you are missing class on Friday, March 22, you must complete the following and turn in the work on Monday, March 25: DO NOW: Free Write Journal (1 page) Perhaps you can write about your field trip/day missed. Review the attached file on directions to complete the TED Talk rhetorical precis, which builds on the practice we have been completing in class. View the TED Talk discussed in the example, Saki Mafundikwa's "Ingenuity and Elegance in Ancient African Alphabets" to understand what is being asked of you. Pick your own TED Talks (directions tell you to view at least two) and view them. Complete the SOAPSTone activities and precis composition on a google doc and share with Ms. Lear no later than 8 a.m. on Monday, March 25.
