I DO: Present the AP Resource packet. Draw attention to rubric for argument essay. Provide directions for group activity.
WE DO: Complete activity in which each group analyzes the AP argument rubric and comes up with a metaphor chart to explain each score level. Then students will apply chart to examples essays from 2011 essay. Discussion to follow.
YOU DO: Students will receive their own essays from Friday back. They will evaluate based on the rubric.
EXIT TICKET: Write a reflection on what score you think your response would receive and why.
HOMEWORK: Study for Wednesday’s vocabulary quiz.
